What’s New?

You can now send Personal Avatar Requests to people outside Synthesia, even if they don’t have an account. Team members, partners, or external experts can easily create their avatars, saving you time and hassle.

Why It’s Cool

✨ No Synthesia account needed: Invite anyone to create their avatar—no sign-ups or extra steps required.
✨ Save time: Forget endless back-and-forth emails about account creation or permissions.
✨ Streamlined process: Just send a link, and recipients can get started immediately.

How It Works

If you want to request an avatar:

1️⃣ Navigate to the Avatars page in the sidebar.
2️⃣ Click Request on the Personal Avatar card.
3️⃣ Enter the recipient’s name, email, and an optional message.
4️⃣ Click Submit to send the email, or copy the link to share directly.

If you received the request:

1️⃣ Open the email and click Record your avatar.
2️⃣ Follow the instructions: record/upload your video, agree to ownership, and give consent.
3️⃣ Once completed, both you and the requester will receive confirmation emails.
